I completely love the RPS, I have to admit. Jesse and Andrew are both such absolute kittens in human form--reading RPS fics about them is like getting injections of rainbows. Have you tried the apartment story by pidgeoned? It may win you over.

But, yeah, you need to be having a pretty good day to be able to read a swath of canon fic. That stuff can get daaaaark. I kinda love that too, though. I tend to stick near AUs and RPS with the occasional foray into canon fic.
