And the Best is Yet to Come. . .
Aug. 9th, 2005 01:07 pmI am in the middle of a piece of fanart, so that should be presentable soon. I realized earlier that my entire reason for getting a livejournal was to showcase artwork and I haven't really done that since pre-hot dogging. I ought to get back on the ball. Now....gush time.
I, courtesy of Akane, was able to watch Gravitation earlier this week. Bril-li-ant! I adore! I squee! I sweat-drop at myself! I spent almost the entire (and Akane can attest to this since she watched the first four episodes with me and then sent me packing with a lovely load of anime to consume as quickly and fangirl-ly [while having a bracket in the middle of a parenthetical phrase is the height of kitch, I must point out something. I made an adverb! fangirl-ly...fell free to use at your own discretion:-)] as possible) time saying, "Bless his pink hair!" And I stand by that. Bless his pink hair. So as soon as I finish the art I am in the middle of (for the MAG, let's see if I get it in ontime this month), I am going to move on the pink hair goodness. Wotta cutie patootie.
Speaking of cutie patooties...me and my sis and a friend from forever went to see Wedding Crashers last night...and bless his nose! I love Owen Wilson. Strange and inexplicable...but I think he's incredibly hot. And I was in stitches for the whole movie...Vince Vaughn and the maple syrup...priceless!
Me and Akane are gonna (hopefully, fingers crossed, everybody) see Avenue Q tonight. Then me and Maggie and Lex are gonna have a Bette Davis movie night on Thursday ...Wednesday is my mom's party in honor of her new Steinway (thanks to her inheritance from her father)....Saturday MIGHT be a family picnic....my would-be godfather is coming to visit for the weekend, so I dunno how game he is for visiting with all the Rohr's. We're an eccentric bunch. (And for those of you who already know that my last name is not, in fact, Rohr, I will explain. Rohr is my grandmother on my father's side maiden last name. McAdams is my grandfather's.) And next weekend is Otakon isn't it? By golly, time DOES fly when you're having fun. I'm still VERY much looking forward to school. Maggie has already promised to visit and have a cheesy 80's teenybopper movie night. Let the good times roll!
