More rambling
Oct. 4th, 2005 11:55 pmSo I have not been a very good student these days. I have to work on that. After I get back from Tennessee this weekend, I will make a super big change. I am going to think of this weekend as a marking point. From here on in, I will make rules for myself and not break them. Foh real. Like only two hours a day tops at RL. I love it, it's like a drug and slowly killing my GPA. Gotta change that. That's new rule numbah 1. Also -- less going home on weekends. In fact, I think it might be best not to go back until Thanksgiving or Halloween or something. But really, this has just been pathetic and a drain on my money. So that's numbah 2. I'll think of more as I go.
So...I have been drawing LOTS. LOTS and LOTS and LOTS . . . but I have kept none of them. I should scan them or something for future reference. What I was drawing was all the member of RLT (Red Lyon Tomodachi-tachi, for those not 'in the know') in chibi forms as various things. Animals to start with, then boy/girl pop bands, then, and most recently, as RPG characters. Since so many people are waiting for these chibi's, I kinda have to pump them out FAST (*ahem*slave drivers*ahem*) which is doing wonders for my art. Honest to goodness, I draw faster with better quality then I ever have in my life (especially chibis). So, thanks, guys. I think someone suggested that, now that the RPG one is done (as of tonight), I should begin on ... furniture? I think not. But, I dunno. Maybe drag queens? >.< That would be fun.
SIDE NOTE OF GREAT IMPORTANCE: You should all see Serenity. Even if you don't like sci-fi (which I do and fervantly too), or Joss (who makes me ANGRY), you will like this movie. Ten to one you will, at least. Goood movie. I should start a Love/Hate Joss club. I am bound to send him a very angry letter some day...I need to bring up several issues with him. grrrrrrr . . .
