Cheery Cherry Blossoms!

Golden Week was last week...for those in the Japanese-culture-know, that means that the whole country takes the week off and heads to their nearest city park/historical site and drinks themselves silly under the cherry blossoms. I didn't partake of the drinking part (except at an office party and then only in extreme moderation -- I know they can all drink me under the table and all the way around too) but, since Karen was in Singapore for most of the week, me and Joann went a-cherry-blossom-ing. Apparently, they call people like that Cherry Blossom Hunters here. All my teachers are charmed that I got so into it.
